Blake Winchell has been investing in growing companies for over 30 years he is the Managing Director of Partner Ventures and Managing General Partner of Fremont Ventures and is on the board of eSilicon Corporation.
He began his career at Price Waterhouse in Boston. Blake was an early employee of Bain and Company and helped open the West Coast office of Bain in 1978. Prior to joining Fremont Ventures, Blake was an investment professional with Leucadia National Corporation, the Channel Investment Group and Generation Ventures.
Blake holds an AB degree from Dartmouth College where he graduated with high honors in both English and Economics, was a Rufus Choate Scholar, and won the Henley Economics Award. He has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant.
He is on the International Advisory Board of IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, where he is a professor teaching two highly rated courses in entrepreneurship.
