Vice President of Development for the National Constitution Center. In her position, Albanese oversees all fundraising efforts for the Constitution Center, including annual support from corporations, individuals, and foundations. She is responsible for raising money for ongoing capital and endowment projects, and the Constitution Center’s annual capstone event,the Liberty Medal Ceremony and Gala. Prior to joining the Constitution Center, Albanese spent 17 years at the Cato Institute, a libertarian think tank headquartered in Washington, D.C. .
She most recently served as Cato’s Vice President for Development. Under her direction, Cato successfully completed a $50 million capital campaign, which expanded the Institute’s headquarters and programs. Her experience includes stewardship, major gifts, development strategy, and special events. Albanese received a BA in business and political science from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. She is a native of Medford, NJ, and splits her time between Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., where her husband and two children reside.
