A founder and, in recent years, an advisory director of the New York investment banking concern of Morgan Stanley & Company. When he left Harvard, he was admitted to the private banking firm of J.P. Morgan & Company and became manager of its bond department. In 1935, Mr. Young was among a group of members of the firm who resigned to form Morgan Stanley. The other founders were Harold Stanley, William Ewing, Henry S. Morgan, Perry E. Hall and Edward H. York Jr.
