The Atlantic Council of the United States is an exceptionally influential US think tank and lobby organization driven by global corporations and former senior government officials and ex-military personnel. Via the latter, the organization establishes contacts with the governmental leaders in the transatlantic area in order to bring their - also interest - guided ideas of economy, politics and security into official politics.
