Served as the president and the chief executive officer of FFO Home from 2012 to 2019. Backed by nearly four decades of expertise in general management, marketing and merchandising, he has helped the company, renowned as a Top 100 Furniture Industry Retailer, experience significant growth. Since beginning his tenure with FFO, forty locations have since been added to the company's umbrella and he has helped to quadruple sales. With his outstanding success, Mr. Zigerelli has been lucky enough to contribute to those less fortunate through the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital and the American Heart Association.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Zigerelli gained valuable expertise in business administration through his work as the president of Cheaper Peepers from 2010 until 2012, worked with Prentice Capital in 2007, and was president and CEO of Duckwall from 2008 to 2010. He also served with Meijer, Inc. in several roles, including as the president from 2005 to 2006, the executive vice president from 2004 until 2005, a senior vice president of merchandising in 2003 and a senior vice president of marketing, advertising and corporate development in 2002.
Some of his earliest roles in the field were that of an executive vice president of corporate development for CVS between 1999 and 2002 and a category management and consumer response specialist with Procter & Gamble, where he spent nearly 20 years. Throughout his career, Mr. Zigerelli has provided his considerable knowledge to several additional companies and organizations, such as the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, Levitz Furniture, Inc., Duckwall-ALCO Stores Inc., the New England Consulting Group and the True Value Company.
